Well if you are looking of living now then DHA2 is not good for living now as compared to bahria town phase 1-4 ... as dha2 has no markets and shops and only 5% populated it think it will take dha2 at least 10 years to be good for living. bwt if ur work location is in islamabad main then both dha2 and BT ph 1-4 are not recommended because it can take almost 2 hours daily in rush time to go and come back from office in islamabad main. if you can wait for a couple of years then bahria enclave can be good option for ppl having offices in islamabad main.
Thanks dear for the valuable info. My concern was to look for a decent place. I am a dentist by profession and currently working out of country. Am planning to move back in a year or two and start my own practice. So I would like to have my practice as well in the same locality.
If I were you, i'd search for a locality considering prospects of professional settlement first and for that of course a developing community would be ideal for you to seize the opportunities.
Keeping that in mind, DHA 2 and BT 1-6 both will be fine. However, settling closer to proper islamabad in growing sectors of G-13 and G-15 could be quite promising considering the fact, there is gona be a speedy and higher population growth.
Secondly, the location edge of these sectors can't be compared with BT or DHA where supply keeps coming (BT ph 7, 8, DHA 2 ext, DHA 3 etc) therefore the professional market share grows very slow.
OKha is wise person very wise and genius person Ii like his advise and it is absolutely true that if your work place is in Islamabad and if you buy plot in BT or DHA it will take 2 hours to reach BT and also risk of accident and also wear tear of vehicle there and its too much tiring and soon you will become mad.

But OKha also give some good advice how to break down prices of CDA sectors. The prices of plots or Houses in CDA sectors are very high and every body cant afford to live there and this is not good you should give some advice about CDA that how to over this corrupt CDA so that prices may came down and every body can afford to live in CDA sectors.
Well thanks NoName. I think if we wait a little we will see the prices of CDA sectors coming down here are some reasons for this.
More options will be available in the near future for buyers e.g. Zone2, Zone5, and Zone4 which are mostly developed by non-CDA organizations so this will surely bring the prices of CDA sectors down.
Also none of the CDA sectors are gated and now security is becoming a major issue in Islamabad so people will prefer private gated societies like Bahria Enclave, Multi professional in zone 2 etc. this will also bring CDA sectors prices down.
CDA is almost bankrupt and now it is providing very bad service to the CDA sectors e.g. water tankers, maintenance of sectors etc. so if the new private housing societies in zone2 and zone4 can do a better job at this people will prefer the new housing societies and this result in less demand for CDA sectors
there lots of other reasons also that will bring the CDA sectors prices down... currently rents and prices are high in CDA sectors as lot of commercial activity is going on in CDA residential sectors once central is built and blue area expands towards G-9 , G-10 which CDA is planning now ... offices/companies will shift to central and new Blue Area which will also bring the prices of CDA sectors down.
In short the CDA sectors prices are very unrealistic now so they have to come down!
