ABOUT B-17 ISLAMABAD
B-17 Islamabad is a Capital Development Authority (CDA) approved sector, developing in Zone II of the capital city. It is a project by Multi-Professional Cooperative Housing Society (MPCHS), popular for successfully delivering several residential projects in Islamabad. This sector is positioned on the east of Grand Trunk Road (N-5 National Highway) and on the west of M-1 motorway. The sector B-17 Islamabad is also known as Multi Gardens, which is divided into two phases, Multi Gardens Phase 1 and 2. It is a gateway to KPK, Gilgit Baltistan, Central Asian States and China as well. In addition, this sector serves as the central point for Hasanabadal, Wah Cantt and Taxila. As MPCHS is developing and has developed all the blocks, its Phase 2 also comes under the B-17 sector.
On the other hand, CDA issued a public notice, according to which Multi Gardens Phase 2 is outside the limits of Islamabad and hence, does not falls under CDA’s approved boundaries. There is a little controversy about Phase 2 of the society being located inside CDA's jurisdiction.
