ABOUT PHASE 3, DHA ISLAMABAD
The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) has already established itself as a prominent real estate magnate offering the best lifestyle solutions to its residents. Inaugurated in 2016, Phase 3, DHA Islamabad, is an upcoming housing society in Islamabad. The community has two entrances, one from Rawat on Main GT Road, and the other right opposite to DHA, Phase 2, on GT Road, near Giga Mall.

History of Development
DHA Islamabad acquired a private society known as New Pindi located in Rawat on Main GT Road somewhere in the 1980s. The community had a proper map, and 5 sectors, from A to E. New Pindi had just started its development work when the DHA acquired it. The same society was later renamed DHA, Phase 3, and the entrance from Main GT Road was the first to be developed.
The sectors mentioned above were the favourites of buyers and investors until recently when the management of DHA started developing the second entrance of DHA, Phase 3, from DHA, Phase 2, on GT Road. As the construction activities gained momentum, so did the buying and selling of plots in the area. The activities were further boosted when DHA, Islamabad, acquired Bahria Garden City, zones 5 to 9.
DHA, Phase 3, has yet to be appropriately marked on Google Maps since the area is still under Rawalpindi on paper. Once DHA launches the project officially, the property will be marked clearly on Google maps, and will also be included in Islamabad.

DHA Phase 3 is located at the outskirts of Islamabad, which means the central city and all its happenings are far away from the people who are living here. Bus stations are also not located at walkable distances. Moreover, people who want a flat or house to live should not consider this project as it is still under development.
