ABOUT PISHUKAN, GWADAR
Gwadar officially became part of Pakistan in September 1958, which later led to the development of Gwadar Port. It was not until 1977 that Gwadar became formally a district or city, with Gwadar Town being nominated as the headquarters of the district. Gwadar, divided into four tehsils comprising Gwadar, Jiwani, Ormara, and Pasni, has now become a mega project, jointly developed by China and Pakistan as part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
