A backhoe loader is one of the most common types of heavy construction equipment used in Pakistan. Usually made up of a tractor, a loader, and a backhoe, it\u2019s a piece of heavy construction machinery that has a variety of applications. For instance, it can be used for loading, unloading, and excavating. Furthermore, a backhoe can also be used for lifting heavyweight construction material to different levels of heights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Compactor-roller\">Compactor<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Compactors, commonly known as rollers in Pakistan, are construction machines used to compact and press materials on the ground, to level a surface. Once the ground or base gets ready, compactors make it suitably even for creating smooth surfaces we usually travel on like highways and other types of roads. The road rollers you normally see in road constructions in Pakistan are soil compactors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, there are also different types of compactors, depending on the nature of the task. For example, there\u2019s a landfill compactor. It is ideal to be used in solid waste management. Similarly, another very famous type of compactor is a soil compactor. They are also called \u201cdumper trucks\u201d, \u201ctipper trucks\u201d or just \u201cdumpers\u201d in Pakistan. In a dumper truck, the chassis of a truck is attached with a dump body that is mounted on its frame. The bed in this heavy construction machinery is raised with the help of a vertical hydraulic ram that is mounted between the frame rails or under the front of the body<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dumpers are also among the most common heavy construction equipment. You will often come across dumpers running around the city. A dump truck is required in almost every other construction project. It features a large-sized bucket that can carry tonnes of different types of heavy materials including soil, rocks, raw materials as well as debris from a demolished building.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As discussed they come in normal and tracked wheels (as you see in military tanks). Loaders with normal wheels are generally used on construction sites, whereas loaders with tracked wheels have better traction and are used in hard-to-reach areas, especially for wheeled loaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Bull-dozers\">Bulldozers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Bulldozers are also among the most common construction equipment in Pakistan. They are primarily used for excavating shallow levels of surfaces up to a particular point. Living in a megacity like Karachi, where tall buildings are being constructed in almost every neighbourhood of the city, you can easily come across the sight of tower cranes working on different construction sites.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These cranes are fixed and are installed to facilitate a construction project of a high-rise tower in terms of hoisting different building materials as well as construction tools.
