Almost all commercial banks operating in the country have been registered as the executing partners of this scheme.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A budget of PKR 33 billion has been set aside by the government of Pakistan for the provision of the subsidized home financing facility, bringing down the markup rate to as low as 5%. As of now, the time duration of this financing facility has been set to 10 years.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The announced <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/markup-subsidy-announced-for-mass-provision-of-affordable-housing.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">markup subsidy for affordable home financing<\/a> intends to enhance the buying power of the general public, enabling individuals belonging to the low-come group to either buy or build a house of their own.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The markup rate for the initial 5-years tenure of the financing scheme has been kept at 5% and 7% for 5 marla and 10 marla property units, respectively. There will be a designated officer of an authoritative position at every service desk facility to look into the submitted applications and properly address the applicant\u2019s concerns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Online-Complaint-Registration-Process\">How to Sign Up and Use SBP\u2019s Online Service Desk Portal<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To get started with the process, you first need to go to the official website of the <a href=\"https:\/\/servicedesk.sbp.org.pk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SBP Service Desk Portal<\/a>. Make sure you are using Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome for the smooth functioning of the website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>For account creation, you need to enter your basic personal information like name and surname as well as your contact details including your mobile number and email address.<\/li><li>Your mobile number will also act as your login ID<\/li><li>Make sure that the email address you are providing is correct as all the official correspondence between you and SBP will be done via email.<\/li><li>Once you are done with the registration process, you\u2019ll be provided with your login details including your login ID, which is your mobile number, and a unique password. It is advisable not to share your login details with anyone.<\/li><li>Verify your details by logging in to make sure your account is properly working. If so, your account is ready for the complaint registration process.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Create a New Complaint on SBP Service Desk Portal<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>After successful login, click on the \u201cRegister a New Complaint\u201d option<\/li><li>Provide all the relevant information like details about the bank from where you have applied for the \u2018Mera Pakistan, Mera Ghar\u2019 program. The branch address of your concerned bank should also be provided.<\/li><li>It would be a plus point if you provide the name of your concerned bank official and their contact number.<\/li><li>Now type in the matter of your complaint in the given text box.
