The government and law enforcement agencies are taking extra measures to ensure international players feel safer during their visit. However, sometimes, due to these precautionary measures, traffic flow is disturbed and citizens can face unpleasant roadblocks. But traffic police departments across the country are doing their best to provide alternate routes so that people don\u2019t suffer while heading to their destinations. For the ongoing Pakistan vs South Africa T20i series, set to be held at the Gaddafi Stadium<\/a>, the City Traffic Police Lahore has issued a traffic plan for the public. Pakistan Vs South Africa T20I Traffic Advisory<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Almost a month ago, law enforcement agencies were directed by the Punjab Cabinet Committee on Law and Order to arrange for foolproof security for the touring and home teams during their stay and matches in Lahore. The committee also advised that the security plan should not affect the traffic flow in the city before, during and after the movement of teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Worried about the fact that Lahore’s traffic plan for Pakistan Vs South Africa T20 series will disrupt your routine? The good news is that to ensure smooth traffic flow in Lahore none of the roads will be blocked, according to the City Traffic Police Lahore. However, only during the movement of teams, from the hotel to the stadium and back, the roads will be temporarily closed for public use. In addition to the security measures taken by the law enforcement authorities, more than 700 personnel will be performing their duties on different routes and more than 5000 police officers will be providing security to the teams on different locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The City Traffic Police Lahore issued a traffic advisory for these matches in Lahore in a tweet: Mall Road, Jail Road, Canal Road, Main Boulevard Gulberg and Ferozepur Road will be temporarily closed during the movement of teams. The roads will be immediately reopened after the teams reach their destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
