About Safari Tourist Train<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\nThe newly launched train will only run for three days a week i.e. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The Safari Tourist Train will start its journey from Islamabad\u2019s Golra station and pass through Taxila, Hassanabdal and Attock railway stations. The journey, between mountains and full of scenic views, will end at Attock City Railway Station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During this journey, the tourists will be able to see magnificent sceneries of Margalla Hills, Sangjani Tunnel and some renowned bridges including Chablal Bridge, Haro Bridge, Ghazi Barotha and Attock Khurd bridges. Constructed in 1880, Attock Khurd Railway station has a Victorian structure made of stone masonry and is surrounded by Manglot Mountains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The railway station is located close to the famous old iron girder bridge that was constructed in 1883. The upper part of the bridge was used for railway traffic and the lower part was used for road traffic. But later a new bridge was constructed on the G.T. Road and traffic was diverted.
