Capital Development Authority (CDA) has established online open courts to redress civic issues. The first session of CDA\u2019s online open courts will be held on April 13, 2021, in which matters of sewerage system and sanitation will be redressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CDA\u2019s Online Open Courts<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Under Prime Minister Imran Khan\u2019s instructions, CDA will be conducting open court sessions in which public issues will be resolved. In the first phase, complaints regarding sanitation and sewerage systems will be accepted in an online open court. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prior to this, CDA has also conducted an e-kachehri in which public issues related to estate and land directorates were addressed. People provided their queries to CDA and explained the details in a formal session held at CDA headquarters where immediate actions are taken by the officials to resolve the matters as soon as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative has been launched to promptly resolve public issues in effective ways to relieve citizens of the Federal Capital. In order to submit your sewerage and sanitation-related complaints to CDA, follow the below-mentioned steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1: <\/strong>Visit the Facebook page of Capital Development Authority (CDA)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2: <\/strong>Record your complaint with CDA regarding the sewerage\/sanitation system<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 3: <\/strong>It is important to mention your name and phone number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 4: <\/strong>Submit your complaint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Tuesday, April 13, 2021, DG Civic Management, CDA and his team will conduct an online session live on CDA\u2019s Facebook page where he will turn by turn address public issues on the mentioned subject. The timings of the session are 02:00 pm to 03:00 pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The purpose of setting up e-kachehri is to bridge the gap that has been created because of the spread of COVID-19. This system will reduce the burden of complaints being piled up and give people a chance to talk about their issues directly with the superior officials. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

About CDA<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After the independence of Pakistan in 1947, Karachi was declared the capital city of the country. Due to the inadequacy of buildings and old structures of existing buildings, the government felt the need to build a new capital city and develop it as per the need. After it was decided, an executive order was also passed to develop an apex body for the development of the capital city and, as a result, Capital Development Authority (CDA)<\/a> was formed in 1960 for the development and maintenance of the capital city, Islamabad. Other than planning, building and maintenance of the city, CDA also coordinates with other government departments working in Islamabad such as Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since its inception, CDA has been actively taking steps to make Islamabad a better place by resolving public queries through a number of initiatives such as e-kachehri.
