DHA City Karachi is the first sustainable, green and smart city of Pakistan, located in the quaint suburbs of Karachi, a city that is always expanding. Launched back in 2010, DHA City has seen tremendous growth in rates and market demand, while development work is underway in various sectors.<\/p>\n

Current status<\/strong><\/p>\n

For DHA City, possession has been granted in Sector 3, while work is underway in almost all other sectors. As soon as DHA moves machinery to develop a sector, it is marked in \u201cred\u201d, showing it as a priority sector for development. Those to be developed next are marked yellow. So, the next sectors in line for possession are Sectors 5 and Sector 7. These are also the sectors for which DHA has shared maps.<\/p>\n

Latest developments<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is the only project in the country designed on sustainable lines where natural terrain is put to its best use to ensure that the environment is not affected at all with such extensive development taking place. Acknowledging this noble approach, many acclaimed health and education facilities have been showing interest in becoming a part of DHA City. These include Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital, Institute of Business Administration, Shifa University, and Dow University.<\/p>\n

In fact, a Dow University varsity hospital building has started its operations from DHA City Sector 3. The project was inaugurated earlier in February this year by Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair.<\/p>\n

In Addition to Dow University Hospital, DHA also recently handed over the commercial plots for vertical development to successful bidders. So we should now expect to see the vast terrain of DHA City undergoing extensive development in the form of high-rise buildings as well. A kindergarten, DCK Junior School, and many social and community buildings are already operating in Sector 3.<\/p>\n

Dow Medical University of Health & Sciences Hospital<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lately, Dow University varsity hospital building started it operations from DHA City Sector 3. The project was inaugurated earlier in February this year by Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair. The hospital is part of DHA City Medical Tourism concept, which is another completely unique feature of the society.<\/p>\n
