Is Naval Anchorage Karachi going to be launched?<\/strong><\/h1>\n

It is. Sources wishing to remain anonymous within Naval Anchorage Housing Directorate in Islamabad confirmed that it is indeed going to be launched. They were, however, reluctant to give even a tentative timeframe for the project or its launch. One representative, however, revealed that some official announcements may be expected around the second week of June \u2013 around Eid, it might be noted.<\/p>\n

Dealer Quota files launched <\/strong><\/h1>\n

Meanwhile, according to Adnan Virk of Lahore Real Estate, PNBA has launched dealer quota files for 500 yd2<\/sup> (1 kanal) plots of Naval Anchorage Karachi. Some of the dealers have also begun prelaunch sale of these plots. However, this was not confirmed by the authorities.<\/p>\n

According to Virk, the 500 yd2<\/sup> plots have been launched at a price of PKR 3.5 million<\/strong>. As it is, the property dealers are receiving 20% token amount currently and the remaining will be payable after the issuance of forms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

All we know about Naval Anchorage Karachi<\/strong><\/h1>\n

According to the representatives of Naval Anchorage, while the dealer quota files contain just 500 yd2<\/sup> options, the plots that will be launched will contain all the variety of sizes<\/strong> including 125 yd2<\/sup>, 250 yd2<\/sup>, 500 yd2<\/sup>, 1,000 yd2<\/sup> and, perhaps even larger plots, they speculated.<\/p>\n

While the exact location<\/strong> was neither revealed by the Naval Anchorage representatives nor known by Virk, the representatives confirmed that it was going to be launched on M-9 Motorway (Super Highway)<\/strong> not far from DHA City Karachi. This is the area towards which Karachi is expanding and contains all the new top housing schemes of Karachi. This is the area towards which Karachi\u2019s population is going to move over the next decade. Some of the other housing schemes in the area include Bahria Town Karachi and ASF Housing Scheme.<\/p>\n

Considering the location and related factors mentioned above, and considering that the project is by Pakistan Navy, the experts feel that it is going to be a fantastic investment, at least in the long-term. However, short- to medium-term investment can also be considered but that will only become clearer once the project is launched and more details become available.<\/p>\n
