The news has been around for a while. Naval Anchorage projects, backed as they are by Pakistan Navy, are quite popular. So, a large number of people have been waiting in anticipation. If you are one of those people, you won\u2019t have to wait much longer!<\/p>\n

Previously, when Naval Anchorage representatives had been contacted, it was being expected that there would be some sort of announcement soon after Eid-ul-Fitr. As of now, however, there hasn\u2019t been any official announcement, but when Naval Anchorage representatives in Karachi revealed that Naval Anchorage Karachi is expected to be launched in two weeks.<\/p>\n

Naval Anchorage projects began in 1989 from Islamabad when Pakistan Navy Benevolent Association (PNBA) launched Pakistan Navy Officers Housing Scheme Naval Anchorage Islamabad<\/a>. The purpose was to provide comfortable living space to naval officers and martyrs. Naval Anchorage Gwadar has also been launched, and now Naval Anchorage Karachi is going to be launched soon!<\/p>\n

Where is Naval Anchorage Karachi located?<\/strong><\/p>\n

In our last update on Naval Anchorage Karachi<\/a>, we had explained that the location has not been confirmed yet. The reports had suggested that the project will be located along M-9 Motorway (Super Highway) and it will be located not far from DHA City Karachi. Now, this has been confirmed by a Naval Anchorage representative in Karachi, the location is near Nooriabad<\/strong>.\u00a0 This puts the location at about 15-20 kilometres away from DHA City Karachi on Super Highway.<\/p>\n

Plots, prices, and investment potential<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to Naval Anchorage representatives, the residential plots<\/strong> to be launched will include 100 yd2<\/sup>, 120 yd2<\/sup>, 200 yd2<\/sup>, 300 yd2<\/sup>, 500 yd2<\/sup>, and 1,000 yd2<\/sup> plots. Currently, the 500 yd2<\/sup> plot files are already on prelaunch sale.<\/p>\n

The representative explained that this was done by NHQ, in collaboration with real estate agents, who have been selling these dealer quota files for 500 yd2<\/sup> (1 kanal) plots in Naval Anchorage Karachi at a price<\/strong> of PKR 3.5 million. The plots can be booked at a 20% token amount, with the remaining payment to be payable within 45 days after forms are issued. The forms are going to be issued after the project is launched.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

As for the prices of the other plots that are going to be launched in two weeks, even the representative had no details. So we will update you about them as soon as they become available.<\/p>\n

According to Ahmad Bajwa of Bajwa Associates, with clarity on location, the investment potential<\/strong> becomes clearer as well. Previously it was thought that the project is located near DHA City Karachi, however, if it is located near Nooriabad, as was stated by the representatives, Bajwa felt that this is going to be a long-term investment in any case. While some file trading and decent short-term profits may be possible, the real profits are going to be realised in the long term.<\/p>\n
