Located near Sector E-11 on Golra Road, this museum is more commonly known as Golra Sharif Railway Museum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Established in 2003 on the Golra Sharif Junction Railway Station, which connects the southern cities to Peshawar, this beautiful and vibrant museum has also become an important tourist attraction in the city. Over the years, it has also gained popularity for being showcased in several movies and advertising campaigns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pakistan Railways Museum houses almost 150 years of railway history. Some of the historical items in the museum include decades steam and electric locomotives, a saloon car used by the last Viceroy of India Lord Mountbatten and another saloon car that belonged to Maharaja of Jodhpur.
