There are two main purposes of the School Education Department in Pakistan. As the name implies, the Balochistan Education Management Information System or BEMIS operates under the provincial government of Balochistan. It is basically a system that focuses on data collection, storage, integration, analysis, and dissemination in educational bodies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Specially designed to effectively execute teaching programmes, the primary objective of this state-owned department is to provide free-of-cost education to children across the province. The department works in close association with the Ministry of Education, and it has already established around 14,979 schools in Balochistan. Currently, more than 10 lakh students are enrolled under different programmes in the institutions established by BIEMS. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite being the biggest state of Pakistan with several natural and geological wonders<\/a>, the province has historically struggled to maintain its literacy rate and continues to face challenges in the field of education. Thankfully, the education department of the province is taking several measures to elevate the current standard of teaching and learning by encouraging locals to send their children to school and youngsters to continue their education.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
