Best investment options - Rs 15 million?

Where to invest 15 million rupees in which part of DHA Lahore? Is it phase 8 commercial or anywhere else. Need sincere advice.

Property prices in zone 2 Islamabad are rising much faster than the property prices in UK. Is there any property in UK which can match the graph of price rise in sector b-17 Islamabad during the last one and a half year.

Why should someone give a loan to a UK company that will own property in UK (investor himself will not own the property)? The investor will just be given a 'return' on his investment 'linked' to the appreciation of price in the UK property.

The company will be charged heavy UK taxes for registration etc. The company will pass on the cost to the investor and minus it from his return.

I think it makes much more sense to invest rs 15 million in Pakistani property which rises at a fast pace enough to off-set against devaluation and inflation. And every now and then the property in Islamabad and Lahore faces a boom.

In one zone 2 plot bought for Rs. 4.5 million in mid June 2010 the price had doubled already and we are only at the end of 2012. Just two and a half years!

This is because there is a severe shortage in supply of housing units in Pakistan compared to the growth in population and growth in demand.

In addition to that, there are many overseas Pakistanis (particularly from the Gulf region where they don't get nationality) who invest in major cities of Pakistan to build their retirement home. They also cause prices to rise.

I am a British born Pakistani. I would like to tell you, I mashAllah own property in Pakistan worth around 50 crore!

I don't need to be told that Pakistan is the best place to invest. Because everyone wants the safest possible investment. And Pakistan is definitely not safe! Too much corruption!

First I would like to ask you, what value of property would you be purchasing for the 15 million? Also their is no assistance from Pakistan banks... Then the main thing for any investor is that his investment be safe. As Pakistan has no safety and is full of corruption.

The investment in UK property can be as safe as putting you money in a hole in the ground. Each investor receives a monthly return and can take his money back anytime.

15 million can buy a UK property worth around 1.30 crore...

Hm let me guess, you're inviting people to invest in the UK via your company, Haque because if you are, that would explain a lot. ;) I agree with Pk1. Investing in the UK seems completely nonsensical and makes no sense whatsoever.

The thing with corruption is that a lot of black sheep bring Pakistan a bad name and some of these black sheep do not let go of their ill ways even when they go out of Pakistan. And let me tell you, Pakistan is not the only country where there is this problem of corruption. Fraudsters are in every country. You in the UK, you would know that.

As far as the status of UK real estate goes, the market is crumbling. Just last month I read about this British guy who lost his real estate empire because of the down market. The case in Pakistan real estate however is the complete opposite. So telling people to invest in the UK is a bad idea. And frankly speaking, we do not give bad advices to people on this forum.

The first thing is that you have to understand that the property or investment will be made on your behalf by a UK investment firm. The investment may only be 10 lakh.

The company is registered in the united kingdom and registered by the office of fair trade.

The investment will be sealed by a full binding contract. You will receive you monthly profit on a fixed date.

Also you can take your money back on 3/5/8 years... Other options available!

It is a fully contracted investment.

I have read and heard a lot of bad news for the last 10 years. I will give you 1 main example. Elite town Lahore! So what has happened...

They have advertised a plot of land that was not registered with the LDA. Poor people invested money and got property files... With no development since 2001..... So what is this all about...? I think their is over 1000 inverters on that project alone, who have been robbed of their investment money.....

That's why Pakistan general public has lost trust in Pakistan investment.

99% fraud! Fake registry! Fake files! No development, many years! Companies not registered by official bodies!

This is now becoming more like everyday practice in Pakistan...

I think a person having 15 million does not require any advise from any one. Neither he/she has 15 million and no any advise is seeking, just wasting the time of other. I suggest you all to please stop it and think about your job.

If you can hold a property for upto two years (not in hurry to get quick profit) then buy one kanal in DHA phase V (behind LUMS), sector B, C, D.

Always invest in property where you can visit easily, no one suggest you to invest in UK without the knowledge of their rules and regulations, what fool will do that, by the way millionaires are everywhere even in Pakistan but I don’t know why Shahzad sb after having 50 crore property in Pakistan suggesting a person having 1.5 crore to invest in UK, Shahzad if corruption at boom how you dare to invest 50 crore here? Plus by the way I’m 24 and single. :slight_smile:

We must not forget one thing. Shahzad is not offering ownership of any real estate property in UK.

He is offering ownership of 'unit certificates' in UK company. It is the UK company that may 'invest' directly or may be even indirectly in UK property. Then the UK company will give you money (not property) in exchange for your investment after deduction of massive taxes and registration fees.

It makes sense to invest in UK property only if you are living in UK. Then instead of paying rent you can make mortgage payment. At the end of the day you own the house. But for that you have to make down payment on the mortgage and then make periodic payments.

Shah, I advice you to first read the posts properly.Before wasting time with writing! I did not tell anyone to invest 1.5 crore in the UK? I said for 15 lakh you can have an investment worth 1.3 crore.

Anyway why are you telling us you are 24 and single? Are you looking for a rishta? Lol. I hope you can understand plain English.

I think first you should actually read the posts correctly before you think of writing an answer. Secondly, please do some research before you think of writing anything. Because no one should give in-correct information and advice.

I would like to add that all the people and guys that think their are big taxes in the UK. They must first get the correct information, then advise people on this forum. Otherwise don't write in-correct information.

The only time you have to pay tax in the UK on a property investment. Is only when the property is sold. I repeat Sold! Sold! Sold!

So again i would like to ask? Can anyone explain what has happened with the elite town project in Lahore. Farozpur Road ?
