We have paid advance and some installments for a ten marla plot in the new Grand Avenue housing scheme on the Ferozpur road. LDA has given notice in a newspaper that the scheme is included in illegal schemes. It is not registered yet. What should we do?
You can either continue making payments in that hope that whatever problems they have will be ironed in the future or you can stop further payments until you see some good news or you can sell.
Best thing is to speak to LDA and ask them why it is illegal and then speak to Urban Developers and find out how long it would take them to resolve the issues they have. Then you have to decide if you are convinced. Some of the societies will be able to get NOC from LDA later and some won't.
It is probably unwise to take a gamble on this society unless you are getting it a very good price or you don't have any other options. if you have some money then it is better to buy a plot on the ground in some scheme.
