First floor k columns beam aur roof lantel ma 3 sootar ka saria dala ja sakta hy ya 4 sooter(aadhi) saria he dalna chaiay???

pehli bat to ye hy k hr chez ka istemal design py deppend krta hy.aap k first floor ka design kia hy us py load kitna hy etc.
Amooman no 3 sirf ring k lye use kia jata hy coloum ya beam k main bars minimum no 4 sy hi shuru hoty hain.slab main bi main steel bars 3 sooter nh daly ja sakty

Thank you very much for your reply. Mera design typical 30X60 house ka hy. 2 bedrooms on each floor with DD and kitchen. Meray architect ne toh ground floor ma bhi total 3 sootar ka saria likha hua tha lekin ma ne khod main bars 4 sooter ki ker dee aur top bars 3 sootar ki. Ab First floor ki roof bhi engineer ne map ma total 3 sootar dia hua hy(main bars bhi aur top bars bhi). I am confused that should I buy 4 sootar more saria or use 3 sootar in roof lantel, which I have already bought??

In layman terms.
If your steel placement is in straigth lengths than 3 sooter is risky.
If the steel is cut for every room seperately than 3 sooter is perfect.
As Mr. Armco said it depends how your structure has been designed.
In Bahria Town 95% steel used in lanter is 3 sooter except for beams.
If you have any prior experience of construction than you can make changes if not than its best you leave it to professionals.
I have replied but its delayed by the admin.
Please get design it from Structure Engineer and follow his recommendations rest is your choice..
