If margalla road is extended, at which point will it meet the gt road? Now it is between sectors e & f. Will this alignment remain when it is extended to gt road? In that case how come b-17 will be facilitated by it? Or which sector will be most facilitated by it?

The new road will touch gt road at sangjani between sectors b-17 and d-17 (the place there should be c-17 which is not developed yet).
To go to islamabad, b-17 residents will come out of their society and turn right from the gate on the gt road and then take a left to go to sector d-12 and e-11. They will not need to drive down gt road and cross tarnol phattak and then turn left for kashmir highway.
Some years later, margalla avenue will be extended to cross gt road and reach motorway where a new interchange has been approved in principle. At that time b-17 residents will benefit most because the double road in multi garden that separates c block from a and b blocks will connect the society directly to margalla road extension. If they want to go to islamabad, they will turn left and if they want to the motorway, they will turn right.
But all of this may take some years because even the first phase of margalla avenue (from d-12 to sangjani) is so far not completed due to lack of funds with cda. Most of the money is now being spent on other things due to the coming elections so cda is no longer focused on completing this project on time.
