About to buy a commercial plot which i was told had planning approval from islamabad cda

Subsequently find out planning has been refused
So cancelled cheque
Seller is now threatening legal action about stopping cheque

None what so ever. But just to be on the safe side. Was it mentioned on stamp paper regarding the condition of buying that planning has been approved by CDA.Regardless of all that it makes no difference. Cancelling the cheque is not illegal and it’s your legal right to safe guard your cash.
