Could you please enlighten me as to whether it is illegal to use the intelligence bureau’s name or that of any other government department for a housing society? Bahria has been doing it for two decades. Recently, the standing committee of national assembly (NA) on interior summoned the intelligence bureau (IB) director general (DG) for using the bureau’s name for the intelligence bureau cooperative housing society.
Do you think the NA is just flexing its fake muscles, or is there a rule against using government departments’ names for commercial purposes?
