This thread is dedicated to DHA phase 5 Islamabad UPDATES on price, developments and growth of population, commercial areas, schools, colleges, clubs, facilities etc.

This thread was initially created to discuss sectors k,l,m,n,P and q of dha phase 2 Islamabad zone V. These sectors K-Q and DHA Emaar Canyons have now been clubbed together and renamed as a single new phase of Defence Islamabad:- DHA Phase 5.

    It's in cash because of good development.I think Dha phase2 still good for new investors.

    In my opinion prices will rise in near future.Allah knows best.

                I heard ,'that dha crashed in past and prices shelved to half ,i don't know the year may be 2004 or 5 or before , reason was very high prices.... Is this getting a repeat again???

                    Truthseeker... Now the situation is totally different. They have started work on the Highway expansion project so the prices can only rise. That is the way it seems but Allah knows best what is to come in the future.

                    At the moment blocks KLMN are substantially lower in price than A to H on the other side of the road. This gap will get narrow as population grows in KLMN etc because the location is almost equally good. Both sides will get the benefit of Highway expansion so price difference has to narrow down. This is why investors are flocking to new sectors in DHA-2.

                      @Truthseeker. Yes your information is correct. DHA prices virtually collapsed around 2005. Right now, I don't see that risk in well populated phases like phase I & II (A-J), but I am a bit cautious about KLMNP right now, simply because they are attracting a lot of speculative money due to the crash in Bahria market. I am not saying that a crash is on the horizon but if prices keep going up like this, the risk will increase considerably, specially if there is a bounce back in Bahria.
