The planning commission has floated a proposal to 'monetize' F-6 and G-6 by demolishing govt houses and building skyscrapers in this part of Islamabad.
In my view this is a very bad idea. It will damage the look, character and beauty of Islamabad and it will create huge bottle necks in traffic, unimaginable problems of parking and great shortage of utility services like water, electricity, grid stations, gas etc.
But I think the govt will go ahead with this mindless idea. This will destroy the real Islamabad.
