By clicking on inventory search button

given at the top of your dashboard the entire inventory (all listings posted by the member) can be searched. Numerous filters are available to let you find your required property listings quickly and accurately. You can also get to the inventory search page by using the “inventory search” link located in the side menu at “Property Management” tab.
To change the expiry date for a single listing click on the expired link in the status column within the property management tab in the member's area. A new box will appear where you can renew the expiry period. To change the expiry of multiple listings, click on the “property management” tab, choose expired listings from the side menu. All of your expired listings will be displayed, now select all the listings that you want to renew by clicking on the check boxes and click on the “change expiry date” button given at the end to renew the listings.
You can edit your listing details by clicking on the edit icon (

). You will find this icon with all of the properties at dashboard or within the “property management” section. Just click on the edit button, make changes and save them by clicking on the submit button. Changes will be saved accordingly (though the changes will need approval from our staff before they are posted at our website and become available to all users)
“Post listing” button

is given at the top right corner of the dashboard for easy access. However, you can also add listings by using “Post new listing” link placed in the side menu of “Property Management” or “Tools” section. Click on any of these links and a new submission form will open, fill out all the necessary details and submit. Our staff manually checks and approves all listings before they appear at our website. In addition to this, whilst submitting a new property listing you can also add images, floorplans, property features and documents to enhance the impact of your listing and generate maximum exposure and response from Zameen visitors.
You need to select the property type from a drop down menu when submitting a property. Two main types of properties are homes, plots and commercial. Homes are further categorized under houses, flats, upper and lower portions and farm houses. Plots are sub-divided into residential and commercial plots and farm houses. Similarly commercial properties are divided into offices, shops, warehouses, factories, buildings and other commercial. Select your property type carefully to get the most appropriate exposure at Zameen.com.
Listing quotas are number of listings allowed for a single membership. A fixed number of free basic listings are allotted when you sign up for a new account, and you can purchase hot listing credits by paying a minimal fee. Total numbers of used and available listings quotas for both basic and hot properties are mentioned at your control panel (dashboard).
Agency account holders have the option of assigning listing quotas to their staff members by clicking on the ‘assign listing quota’ link. This directs to the manage listing quota section under the agency staff tab, where the gray (
change) link can be used to allocate listings to individual users.
Hot properties get 400% more exposure than basic listings. You listing will be featured at homepage (on rotation basis) for a small fee with top ranks and positions in your selected categories. You can purchase hot listing credits by clicking on the “buy hot listings” link at dashboard. This will take you to the further information page and you would need to get in touch with our staff members to purchase hot listing credits. Once you have purchased the credits, you can simply click on the grey chili button (

given in front of all basic listings) to change that property into a hot listing (Note that the chili button turns red once you have successfully turned a listing hot). Remember, a credit will be deducted from your quota of hot listings every time you click on this icon. The used credit cannot be restored or transferred, so please be careful when converting your basic listing into a hot listing.
When submitting a property, you can set the duration after which the listing will be expired automatically. Expired properties remain at our portal along with an “expired” tag and are often ignored by the visitors due to lesser exposure as compared to an active listing. You can always change the expiry date of your property at any given time from within the member's area.
The dashboard display shows all of the listed properties as well as the status for each property. Any property listed on Zameen.com can have one of the following statuses.
Active: |
An active property is one which is visible to users and can be searched on Zameen.com with the status clearly indicated as Active. |
Expired: |
An expired property is one which is visible to users on Zameen.com with the status clearly indicated as Expired. An expired listing could be a property which is still available for sale or rent but the listing person only allowed a specific time frame for it to be shown as an active property.
Whenever a new property is added, a field is provided to specify the amount of time for which the property should be valid. The time for the validity of a property listing starts when the property is approved by Zameen.com and remains active for the amount of time specified by the person listing the property. The property status can be changed to active again by editing the property and submitting the changes. Once the edits have been approved by Zameen.com, the property status will change to active. |
Edited: |
An edited property is one which was previously approved by Zameen.com but has since been edited by the person listing the property. A property in edited status will not have its new information visible to users on Zameen.com till the changes have been approved by Zameen.com staff. Every time a property is edited, the expiration date of the property is renewed to the current date. |
Pending: |
A pending property is one which has been submitted to Zameen.com for approval by the person listing the property but has not yet been approved by Zameen.com. The property will not be visible to users on Zameen.com till the status of the property has changed from pending to active. |
Deleted: |
Once you delete a property, it remains at our website with “sold”, “rented” or “request fulfilled” tags. Contact icon is removed and visitors are not able to contact the concerned person. |
Rejected: |
A rejected property is one which was not approved by Zameen.com after its submission by the person listing the property. Any property that is rejected by Zameen.com has a valid reason for rejection which can be located by moving the cursor over information symbol (i ) located next to the status. |

These are the listings successfully uploaded by feeds or excel sheets. However, you need to forward them for approval by clicking on the arrow sign from the control icons before they will be approved and posted at Zameen. |
