These flagship projects, set for completion by 2027, were approved during a high-level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among the key initiatives is the groundbreaking &#8220;Life Insurance for All&#8221; program, which will offer life insurance coverage to all citizens of KP. Another major initiative is the construction of the Peshawar-Dera Ismail Khan Motorway, a 365 km international trade corridor that will traverse 12 districts, linking KP with Balochistan and Punjab. This key infrastructure project will facilitate smoother trade routes and economic integration within the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To enhance energy infrastructure, the government has approved a 120 km long, 220 kV power transmission line from Swat to Chakdara, which is expected to generate an annual revenue of PKR 54 billion for the provincial treasury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a bid to bolster trade relations, the KP government will establish a Trade Corridors Hub at Torkham, designed to streamline trade activities with Afghanistan and the Central Asian Republics.
