Karachi: In a significant move to boost industrial growth and economic development, the Sindh government has signed a concession agreement for Marble City Karachi, a cutting-edge industrial zone dedicated to marble and granite production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agreement was finalized during a meeting chaired by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah at the CM House. The meeting was attended by senior officials, including CM\u2019s Special Assistant on Investment Syed Qasim Naveed, Chief Secretary Asif Hyder Shah, Secretary to CM Raheem Shaikh, Secretary Industries Yaseen Shar, Secretary Investment Khurram Shahzad, CEO Sindh Economic Zones Authority (SEZA) Zeerat Shafqat, and others. The Marble City Karachi project, managed by the Sindh Economic Zones Management Company (SEZMC), represents a $100 million investment and is expected to create 10,000 jobs. Strategically located in Karachi, Pakistan\u2019s primary trade and industrial hub, the project will offer state-of-the-art infrastructure, utilities, and enhanced security measures, including 24\/7 surveillance and emergency management systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking at the signing ceremony, CM Murad Ali Shah emphasized the project\u2019s significance in enhancing the value chain of marble and granite production, boosting exports, and fostering innovation.
