These plots, originally intended for welfare purposes, will be cleared and utilized for their designated public facilities such as playgrounds, parks, schools, and community centers. &#8220;These areas must serve the public, and we will ensure that they do,&#8221; the mayor said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The mayor also directed the urgent computerization of all records related to KMC land in Orangi Town. He instructed officials to retrieve and digitally store the records from current allottees to prevent any fraudulent activities or alterations. In addition, maps and details of informal settlements in the area will also be digitized to improve land management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Addressing concerns about pending land issues, Barrister Wahab instructed the review of 350 pending double lease cases, urging officials to pursue these cases in court to ensure justice.
