The Spring Plantation Drive 2025 is set to formally launch on February 19 at IMCB F-8, with extensive tree plantation planned across F-9 Park, Shakarparian, urban and rural areas, and along nullahs. To further boost afforestation, seed balls will be dropped via helicopters and drones in Margalla Hills National Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chairman Randhawa emphasized the active involvement of the private sector, urging companies and brands to contribute to environmental welfare. He also directed the allocation of specific plantation zones to businesses and encouraged student participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To promote public engagement, stalls distributing plants will be set up in major parks and commercial areas. Additionally, a digitized monitoring system will be introduced, allowing for online tracking of planted trees.
