Lahore: The Walton Road Upgradation Project, spearheaded by the Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA), also known as CBD Punjab, is nearing completion, bringing long-awaited improvements to one of Lahore\u2019s busiest corridors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project focuses on modernizing infrastructure, enhancing urban aesthetics, and improving traffic flow. Key upgrades include the rehabilitation of the main carriageway, the development of green belts, and extensive horticulture work. These improvements aim to ensure better drainage, reduced congestion, and a cleaner, healthier environment for Walton residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CBD Punjab\u2019s initiative to remove the drain and replace it with landscaped green belts has significantly improved public health and environmental conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, a new sewage system has been installed, effectively preventing water accumulation even after heavy rains. Residents have welcomed these upgrades, noting that issues persisting for over 30 years are finally being addressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Imran Amin, CEO of CBD Punjab, highlighted the significance of the project, stating that the Walton Road Upgradation Project reflects CBD’s commitment to modernizing Lahore\u2019s infrastructure while ensuring environmental sustainability. “By addressing decades-old issues, improving traffic flow, and enhancing the urban environment with green spaces, we are striving to improve the quality of life for residents\u201d, he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
