According to Punjab Environment Director General (DG) Imran Hamid Sheikh, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has completed the e-mapping of all industrial units and kilns, assigning each a unique identification number. This system aims to streamline inspections and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He stated that all EPA inspections will now be recorded under these unique identification numbers, and entering them into the Eco Watch app has been made mandatory for field officers. The app will store inspection data, including images, videos, and locations, creating a digital record of each unit\u2019s environmental compliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
