A 25-member delegation from ECO is set to visit Lahore on April 13, 2025, where the formal announcement of the city\u2019s nomination will be made. During their visit, the delegation will participate in various cultural and official activities, including a Council of Permanent Representatives meeting, which will be hosted at the Civil Secretariat under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This recognition follows the footsteps of Shahrisabz, Uzbekistan, which held the title in the past, and Erzurum, Turkey, which will be named the Tourism Capital for 2025.
