These demolitions were overseen by MCL Chief Officer Shahid Abbas Kathia, who supervised the entire operation to ensure that illegal structures were effectively dismantled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The teams sealed 170 properties and confiscated 20 truckloads of materials used in unauthorized constructions. Significant progress was made in clearing encroachments along key roads such as Wahdat Road, Jubilee Town, and Niazi Chowk. Additionally, illegal occupations in the Yakki Gate, Delhi Gate, and Basti Saiden Shah areas were removed. Among the sealed properties, 36 were located in Gulberg and New Garden, while 58 were in Gujjarpura, Samanabad, Shadman, Shah Jamal, and Gulshan Ravi. These properties were sealed for non-payment of commercial fees and illegal commercial usage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The drive is part of the ongoing efforts by Lahore authorities to restore public spaces, regulate the construction sector, and ensure adherence to zoning laws.
