In recent weeks, land demarcation has been completed from Point Zero up to 7.5 kilometers of the 9.5-kilometer, 400-foot-wide expressway that forms the backbone of the development. Significant contributions have come from Urmar Mera and Ghari Faizullah, which have provided 5,562 and 15,323 kanals respectively\u2014sufficient to initiate both Phase One and Phase Two, each requiring approximately 12,000 kanals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Initially overseen by the Peshawar Development Authority (PDA), the project faced delays and was later handed over to the Pakhtunkhwa Housing Authority (PHA). Since the transition, development activities have significantly picked up pace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Amjad, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister, described New Peshawar Valley as a flagship initiative that prioritizes transparency, timely execution, and long-term sustainability.
