In the same period, the FBR received 2,452,090 new tax returns, resulting in tax collections amounting to Rs1.73 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Finance Ministry informed the National Assembly that the FBR is collaborating closely with the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) and provincial governments to integrate data systems aimed at broadening the country\u2019s tax base.
