Islamabad: In a high-level meeting held in Islamabad, Federal Minister for Climate Change and Environmental Coordination Dr. Musadik Malik and Director General of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Bruno Carrasco agreed to develop a joint strategy aimed at enhancing Pakistan\u2019s climate resilience and environmental sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting focused on forging a comprehensive climate policy framework to help the country respond more effectively to environmental challenges. Both sides emphasised the importance of moving beyond planning towards implementation to make meaningful progress in the face of growing climate risks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key discussion points included the development of youth-led climate initiatives, with both parties stressing the need to support young innovators through funding, incubation, and mentorship. In addition, the meeting explored potential joint ventures in climate financing and sustainable investments, as part of broader efforts to mobilise substantial resources for climate adaptation and green development projects across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
