The oil flow was confirmed after a successful Drill Stem Test (DST) and further evaluation using an Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) in the B-Sand layer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, oil was encountered in the Lower Ranikot Formation during formation testing, prompting a second round of testing to assess the full hydrocarbon potential in that layer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>OGDCL noted that this latest discovery strengthens the case for continued exploration in the region, underlining the geological promise of the Sindh basin.
