Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday directed ministries to prepare a comprehensive reform agenda and roadmap featuring practical, investment-driven projects aimed at accelerating economic growth and trade activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chairing an online meeting from London, the prime minister emphasised that only results-oriented initiatives should be prioritised to ensure sustainable development. He assigned clear targets to ministries and instructed them to identify viable projects that could be implemented without delay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shehbaz Sharif highlighted agriculture, information technology, minerals, tourism, and renewable energy as key sectors for foreign investment, noting their potential to modernise industries, create jobs, and support long-term growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He stressed that enhancing trade and exports remains a central pillar of government policy, calling for measures to improve competitiveness and open new markets for Pakistani goods and services. The prime minister assured that the private sector would be fully engaged in the reform and investment agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The session was attended virtually by federal ministers for finance, climate change, petroleum, commerce, information, and economic affairs. Concluding the meeting, Shehbaz expressed confidence that innovation, transparency, and timely project completion would place Pakistan on a stronger path of economic recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
