Lahore: The Punjab government has approved a revised plan for the much-anticipated Lahore Canal Floating Restaurant project, with the total cost rising from Rs350 million to Rs540 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officials said the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) submitted the updated plan to the Housing Department, which has now received formal approval from the Housing Secretary. The project, initially cleared by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz in August, will be fully funded by the provincial government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the revised plan, the floating restaurant will operate along a one-kilometre stretch of the Lahore Canal, offering visitors a unique dining experience along with an additional picnic area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
