The proposed link aims to improve intercity connectivity and ease traffic congestion on existing routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, the Islamabad Expressway service road, particularly the stretch between Sohan and Koral, has been in poor condition for years, marked by potholes and rutting. The three-lane, 1.1-kilometre-long structure is nearly 46% complete and is expected to be finished within 150 days. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif inaugurated the project last month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CDA officials also confirmed that the Shaheen Chowk project has been awarded and will be formally inaugurated soon.
