Earlier, he was briefed on the design and scope of the underpass before formally laying its foundation stone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, who also spoke at the ceremony, said the underpass would help ease traffic congestion on Margalla Road and surrounding areas. He added that construction work on 11th Avenue was already underway, while new projects, including the Kashmir Chowk Underpass, would soon be launched.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Naqvi noted that Islamabad was being upgraded in line with international standards, with particular focus on enhancing its infrastructure and aesthetics ahead of the SCO Summit.
