She added that the project is expected to boost the regional economy, generate employment, and improve urban facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr Shahid Mahmud, Senior Advisor at OIC COMSTECH, termed the project a long-awaited step for the twin cities and said it would serve as a catalyst for economic expansion, especially toward Rawalpindi\u2019s south-western areas.
