The issue was highlighted through a calling-attention notice moved by MNAs Anjum Aqeel Khan and Malik Ibrar Ahmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sector E-12, acquired in the 1970s and 1980s, still has unresolved compensation cases despite the sector being launched in 1989. CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa recently directed the Deputy Commissioner CDA, Sardar Asif, to expedite the resolution of pending cases and keep the authority\u2019s management informed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other sectors under discussion were acquired under the 2008 land-sharing formula, which entailed CDA receiving four-kanal plots in exchange for providing locals with one-kanal developed plots, along with compensation for built-up properties.
