The initiative follows a successful pilot project on Mall Road and is part of the city\u2019s broader efforts to enhance traffic management and reduce congestion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Tepa officials, the first phase of the project will implement a European-style traffic management system designed to maintain lane discipline and reduce accidents. The system will also integrate with Lahore\u2019s Smart City infrastructure to record and analyze traffic data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 20 intersections selected for the first phase include GPO intersection, High Court Chowk, Regal Chowk, Governor House, Davis Road, Canal Road Junction, Zafar Ali Road, Fortress Stadium intersection, Jinnah Chowk, Sarfaraz Rafiqui Road, Secretariat intersection, Ferozepur Road, Muslim Town Mor, Bhekewal, Dubai Chowk, Barkat Market, Firdous Market, Askari 10, and Parvez Aslam Chowk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tepa officials highlighted that pelican signals are effective in balancing pedestrian needs with vehicular flow.
