Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has intensified its efforts against illegal constructions and encroachments across Islamabad, launching a new phase of its anti-encroachment operation under the directives of Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to a CDA spokesperson, the ongoing operation is being supervised by Deputy Director General of Enforcement Dr Anam Fatima. In the initial phase, 712 kanals of valuable estate land adjacent to the Diplomatic Enclave were reclaimed from illegal occupants. The latest phase now targets encroachments in the Noorpur Shahan area, with notices being issued in accordance with the law to ensure the removal of illegal constructions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Multiple divisions of the CDA are participating in the operation, including officials from the Planning Wing\u2019s Land Survey section and the Geo-Spatial Wing, who have been deployed on-site to ensure effective execution. The operation is being carried out with the full support of the Islamabad district administration and Islamabad Police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To facilitate residents and address legitimate concerns, a camp office has been established in the area. Officers from the Planning Wing, Land Directorate, and Enforcement Directorate are present to assist with matters related to built-up properties (BUP), land distribution, and other lawful issues at the local level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
