The State Bank of Pakistan is ready to move forward pending approval from the<br>federal government.<br>Sources say preparations have been completed by the Security Printing Corporation. It has<br>developed the new currency notes with modern and effective security features. However, the<br>final designs of the new notes have not yet been approved by the federal government. This has<br>delayed the official rollout.<br>Amir Shams, Senior Manager of Printing at the Security Printing Corporation, confirmed that<br>consultations have taken place between the State Bank and the corporation regarding the printing<br>process. He stated that once the designs are finalized, it will take approximately two months to<br>print the new currency notes.
