Mayor Murtaza Wahab laid the foundation stone on Sunday, marking the start of the initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main project, covering areas including Jodia Bazaar, Bolton Market, Mithadar, and Kharadar, will be completed at a cost of PKR 595.6 million. An additional PKR 100 million has been allocated for the restoration of the historic Lea Market building, with work expected to be completed within 90 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The infrastructure works include the construction and repair of roads, laying paver blocks over 400,000 square feet, and the installation of new sewerage pipelines.
