Under the Kite Flying Ordinance 2025, the installation of safety rods or wires on motorcycles has been made mandatory during the festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She said the district administration will set up around 100 road safety camps across Lahore, where safety rods will be installed on 50,000 to 60,000 motorcycles daily. In total, about one million safety rods are expected to be fitted during the Basant period.
