Lahore: As the Basant Festival approaches, rooftop rentals in Lahore, particularly in the historic Walled City, have surged to record levels, with some spaces commanding rates of up to Rs 2.5 to 3 million for just three days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rooftop spaces in key areas such as Delhi Gate, Bhaati Gate, Mochi Gate, and Rang Mahal are in highest demand due to their panoramic views of the festival celebrations. A few five-star hotels have also secured rooftop spaces in the Walled City to host special events, further driving up rental costs.
