The CDA chairman said the initiative aligns with the Digital Islamabad vision of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and is expected to promote a cashless economy in the capital. He added that the system would facilitate transactions related to property transfers, inheritance, and buying and selling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Islamabad: Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa on Monday visited the E-Stamp Centre at F-8 Markaz to review the implementation of the E-Stamp Papers system in the federal capital. CDA Member Administration Talat Mahmood, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Irfan Nawaz Memon and other senior officers were also present during the visit. The chairman was briefed on the operational aspects of the E-Stamp system, which has been fully rolled out in Islamabad following a successful testing phase, replacing the traditional stamp paper mechanism. Officials informed the chairman that the E-Stamp system is fully integrated with OneLink, enabling digital payments. They added that the Islamabad Capital Territory administration, in collaboration with the Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA), has finalised the design of E-Stamp Papers and developed a complete digital process for their issuance.
