The chief minister directed immediate measures to mitigate the mid-flow downhill effect and ordered relief and rehabilitation efforts in affected areas, including Chatta Mor, Darya Gali, Bansera Gali, Naml and Jhika Gali.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Read: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/largest-development-package-in-murrees-history.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Punjab approves largest development package in Murree\u2019s history<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the tourism-focused development plan, multiple projects were approved to upgrade Murree\u2019s infrastructure and visitor experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Approved projects include:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Construction of Punjab\u2019s first sky glass bridge in Kotli Sattian<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Launch of a glass train project, with construction to begin within one month<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establishment of three hospitality zones in Shawala, Sozo and Brewery for five-star standard hotels in collaboration with the private sector<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Development of a glamping pod village at Chewra Hill, to be managed by the private sector<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creation of three new public parks: Angoori Road Park, MIT Park and Ariari Park Kotli Sattian<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establishment of a paragliding club in Chewra<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Development of a zoological garden, eco-zone, bridge crossing and conference facility at Bansera Gali, along with wildlife conservation facilities including a bear house, tiger house and bird aviary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to new tourism initiatives, authorities reviewed ongoing infrastructure improvements. Roads in key areas, including Jhika Gali Road and Reach Bil Road, will be widened by 10 feet to ease traffic flow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting was also informed that rainwater harvesting systems have been installed in over 187,600 homes across Murree and Kotli Sattian, helping improve water access for residents.
