It was attended by President Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Farooq Yousuf Sheikh, Vice Chancellor Women University Faisalabad Prof Dr Kanwal Amin, representatives of the business community, Airport Security Force, customs, police, district administration, aviation stakeholders, and media representatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Briefing participants, Engr Sameer Saeed said the Greenfield Airport project would serve as a major milestone for Faisalabad, the region, and the national economy. He stated that the project would require approximately 2,000 to 2,500 acres of land and has been designed to meet future aviation demands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He added that the project also has potential for public-private partnership to ensure the development of world-class aviation facilities. According to him, the Pakistan Airports Authority aims to develop a comprehensive, future-ready airport aligned with modern international standards, for which global consultants have been engaged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the session, experts from DAR Al-Handasah delivered an initial presentation outlining the project framework.
